Ranking: countries and professional domination

Which countries are the leading ones in terms of professional domination?

I wondered which countries, in proportion to the number of inhabitants, have the highest number of professional mistresses.

It should be noted that this minor research is very approximate. I only used one referencing site to do this (the most popular one, with the most international links). Nevertheless, the system is neutral and the results obtained are quite logical. So it's approximate, but still revealing!

Also, it should be noted that I did not distinguish between native dominatrices and expatriates. That's why the United Arab Emirates is so well ranked, for example.

Update: after some rather virulent but sensible criticisms, I clarify something that yet seemed obvious to me: this is not a very serious "study". However, I will leave you to appreciate the reliability of this results very quickly obtained .

• Interpretation of results

Many criteria are to be taken into account when reading the results for each country:

culture, history, society-related factors -- such as open-mindedness or sexual liberation -- the wealth of the country, the repression of sex work, the influence of religion...

Some interesting things:

- Norway is much, much lower ranked than its Scandinavian neighbours. Why that? Perhaps there is a cultural factor here that I do not know about. - With Austria, Germany and Switzerland in the leading positions, the cliché on the Germanic trend for BDSM games tends to be confirmed. We are dealing here with the cultural context of BDSM. Moreover, Pornhub's statistics support this point, as Germany is the only country to place bondage, piss, fetish and feet in the top of the research! The details of the analysis can be found here.

- The ranking of the United Arab Emirates is interesting, as there are many, if not all of them, foreign pro dommes who operate there. Not only they are foreigners, but also they are staying for a limited period of time for the vast majority of them. The UAE therefore seems to be a country of choice for a dominatrix on a "working holiday". (Thanks to Domina M for the info on this).

- It should be noted that the United Kingdom is not only first, but first by far, with Switzerland. - Why Switzerland at such a high position than Germany? As for the UAE, perhaps we are dealing here with the society-related factor, and the strong customer potential in this country known for its economic and financial health, which certainly attracts a lot of traveling dommes.

- Personal observation: the astonishing case of Poland, very poorly ranked with an score of only 77, but which counts some of the most interesting places in the world with very well mastered concepts, such as Warsaw Prison or even Sin Sisters Dungeon.

They say quantity does not mean quality!

The "calculation" was simple: divide the number of inhabitants of the country by the number of professional dominatrices according to dominaguide.net.

For example, for the United Kingdom: 65,000,000 divided by 610 = 106,000.

That makes 1 professional dominatrix for every 106,000 inhabitants. For the sake of clarity, I then divided this result by 100,000, which gives us a score. Here, the score is, once rounded, 1.05.

The idea: the closer the score is to 0, the more professional dominatrices there are in the country in proportion to the number of inhabitants!
